Brooklyn LeCompte: Gymnastics Recruiting Class of 2028

Hello! My name is Brooklyn but if you catch me in the gym, you’ll hear me called Brookie, Cookie, Wookie, Middle’n…
Middle’n is because I’m referred to as the resident hillbilly. My family and I love to hunt and fish together and I may or may not have a slight accent when I talk about what’s for supper while everybody else is having “dinner.” 😁
The 2026 season, which was also supposed to be my first Level 10 season, didn’t quite go as planned, since I fractured my wrist the same week as the very first meet.
So, I’m looking for a big redo this coming season and the comeback is already better than the setback! Season 10.2 uploading!!!
That being said, the last season that I competed as a Level 9, I had some really great postseason meets:
- Level 9 State – Texas – 3rd Vault, 3rd Bars, 1st Floor, 3rd AA
- Level 9/10 Regionals – Region 3 – 1st Vault, 2nd Bars, 3rd Floor, 1st AA – Westerns Qualifier
- Level 9 Westerns – 6th Bars & Beam – 8th AA
A few things about me…
1.) Coffee or energy drink? COFFEE!
2.) Pineapple on pizza? Nope
3.) Pizza or Pasta? Always pasta
4.) Early Bird or Night Owl? Night owl
5.) Most embarrassing moment? My coach asked me to pull a spring on a board and I combined the words ‘middle’ and ‘one’ and it came out “the middle’n”…add my maybe, maybe not slight central Texas accent and I have NEVER lived that moment down! It is now an official nickname in the gym.
Lots of upgrades to come this season on all events and I cannot wait to share them all with you.
Kaleigh Fuchs: Gymnastics Recruiting Class of 2028

I just finished my first year of level 10 and have been competing in gymnastics for 14 years. I had the opportunity to make it to the Tops National A Camp in 2019.
I made it to regionals in level 8,9, & 10. With this being my first year of level 10 my highlights for this year, was a 9.1 on vault and a 9.3 on beam.
I qualified for level 10 regionals as a beam specialist.
One thing that separates me that I learned throughout this past season is how important nutrition is for a high-level gymnast. I understand now what fuel I need in order to properly train on level 10 skills and upgrades to improve my difficulty.
Another thing that makes me stand out is numerous coaches have commented on how hardworking and coachable I am and put their feedback into practice.
Rapid fire questions-
1.) Coffee or energy drink? Energy Drinks
2.) Pineapple on pizza? No
3.) Pizza or Pasta? Pasta
4.) Early Bird or Night Owl? Night owl
5.) Most embarrassing moment? Falling up the stairs at school with Starbucks in my hand and spilling it everywhere.
Carolina Thompson: Gymnastics Recruiting Class of 2028

I am a Level 10 gymnast at Xtreme gymnastics in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. I am 2x Western qualifier, and have been doing gymnastics since I was 5!
My favorite events are Beam and Floor. I have a 4.1 GPA, and plan to do an off campus Medical Program at Summit Technology Academy in the fall!
Rapid fire questions:
1.) Coffee or energy drink? Coffee
2.) Pineapple on pizza? No
3.) Pizza or Pasta? Pasta
4.) Early Bird or Night Owl? Early Bird
5.) Most embarrassing moment? One of my most embarrassing moments was when I thought a girl from another team was waving at me, but they were actually waving at the person behind me.
